Agroclimatic resources The Tambov Region is characterized by a high level of development in the agricultural sector; this is due to:
1) favorable climatic conditions. The climate of the region is moderate-continental with quite warm summers and fairly cold, frosty winters; the annual average temperature is 4-5 ° C, but it varies from year to year from 2,3 to 7,6 °C; The average temperature during the warmest month (July ) is 18,8-20,7 ° C; the coldest month(s) (January-February ) is - 10,3-11,8 ° C.
