Creating a friendly environment for investors is the priority for our government, because the Irkutsk region has all the opportunities for advanced development. Its unique geopolitical location, rich stock of natural resources, localization of big manufactures and scientific centres — all these create the necessary conditions for the realization of big projects in the science-driven industry.

Building the industrial clusters in the region involves infrastructure integration with Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), as well as the rebirth of small aircraft manufacture in the Buryat Republic and the Trans-Baikal Territory. There are plans for creating a transregional tourism cluster "Baikal Ring".

We are opened to cooperation; we keep our obligations and are ready to imlement the boldest and biggest projects in our region.
