First Ever Roscongress Foundation Projects Lounge Planned for SPIEF 2024

A special thematic Roscongress Foundation Projects Lounge is being planned for the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, scheduled for 5 to 8 June 2024. The Lounge promises to become a hub for important Foundation and partner projects.

The Projects Lounge will provide information about well-established business community events (including the Eastern Economic Forum, Caucasus Investment Forum, and Russian Energy Week, among others) as well as new initiatives. One such initiative to be presented in the Lounge is the International City Forum (ICF), a joint project of the Roscongress Foundation and the Mantera Group, Moscow Capital Club, and the Rotex Exhibition Company with the support of the Moscow City Government, Rostec State Corporation, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

The goal of the project is to bring together global political and business leaders, the mayors of capitals, world cities, and twin cities interested in developing economic relations in spite of the current geopolitical situation. An event of such importance will also contribute to the creation of territorial megabrands. The first ICF is planned for the Sirius Federal Territory in early 2025, where modern world-class facilities are being built on the excellent infrastructure left after the 2014 Olympic Games. One such future Forum venue is the new Conference Centre at the deluxe Mantera Seaview Residence in Imeretinka. Presentations of the complex and other premium Mantera Group projects in Moscow and the Far East will also be held in the Lounge.

Projects of the Moscow City Government, Rotex Exhibition Company, and Rostec State Corporation, with whom the Roscongress Foundation signed a cooperation agreement at the end of May, will also be presented in the Lounge. As part of the agreement, the parties will provide each other with information, consulting, and expert support and help organize joint congress and exhibition events. The work will wrap up with the joint promotion of Russian commercial manufacturing on the international market and the attraction of investment.

The Roscongress Team and the Moscow Capital Club will also be on hand to present their projects in the Lounge. The Club, whose members include well-known businessmen and politicians, holds regular meetings in Moscow at the Central House of Writers, now commonly known in business circles as the Central House of Leaders.

We deliberately tried not to tie ourselves to any one theme. It is essentially a meeting place for any projects, events, or ideas that align with the Roscongress Foundation agenda and will help attract the attention of partners and participants,” concept author, Roscongress Foundation Adviser to the CEO, and Project Director Vladimir Starovoitenko said.

The Lounge will be open throughout SPIEF in pavilion G. There will be a small bar for guests, created by the Association of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Russia in conjunction with the Chateau de Talu winery.
