The Russian economy faces the task of mass exports by Russian companies given the fact that less than one percent of Russian small- and medium-sized businesses are currently exporters. Global practices have shown that acceleration is one of the most important tools for supporting companies as they access foreign markets.
The session Export Accelerator: Learning to Trade Globally will be held as part of the business programme at the Russian Investment Forum with the support of the Russian Export Center.
Participants in the session will discuss how to make exports high-volume and popular, how to use the practice of existing Russian and international accelerators, and what tools and incentives are needed for exports by Russian companies. Agenda items include the use of modern technologies, the effectiveness of state support, and interaction between national and regional development institutions, among others.
«We are placing special emphasis on the broad involvement of small- and medium-sized companies in the export business. Having studied best world practices, we are launching our own acceleration projects. Acceleration programmes will help prepare those involved for all the complex processes of international trade: finding business partners, signing export contracts, and most importantly, showing Russian companies that export is a reality. One of the RECs values is to make what seems to be difficult for businesses in export activities simple and accessible», Russian Export Center CEO Andrey Slepnev said.
The business programme of the Russian Investment Forum is available on the events official website. The Forum is being organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
