The Innosocium Foundation, the
social platform of the Roscongress Foundation, will hold sessions as part of
the business programme of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) 2024, the BRICS
Creative Innovation Forum, and a discussion about public initiatives that
combine effective solutions to social problems with a creative approach. The
EEF is being organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
“It is obvious that success in
creative entrepreneurship is often based on a deep understanding of culture and
traditions. This trend is supported by our multifaceted cooperation with BRICS
countries. The events of the Innosocium Foundation, the social platform of the
Roscongress Foundation, are a popular discussion platform where we can assess
the effectiveness of current initiatives in the rapidly developing creative
economy,” Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive
Secretary of the EEF Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov said.
All the main focuses of the
programme of the BRICS Creative Innovation Forum, which is being held during
the year of Russia’s chairship of this organization, have been prepared with an
emphasis on the comprehensive intensification of interaction with partner
countries in culture and art.
The main themes of the BRICS
Creative Innovation Forum will include a discussion about advanced technologies
and innovations in creative entrepreneurship and their importance for the
creative economy of the future. The discussion participants will consider how
to create conditions for the introduction of technologies and the growth of the
creative economy, while preserving Russia’s national cultural identity. The key
event will be the plenary session ‘New Russian Cultural Code: The Art of
Preserving, Rethinking, and Transforming’. The sessions will feature
discussions about the most popular topics in the creative industries: the
digitalization of languages, ethnocultural heritage and media, changes in
creative spaces and their residents, the self-sufficiency of creative business,
the creative economy of the regions, animation in the context of technology,
changes in the musical landscape, the development of the gaming industry in the
Far East, and the digital reality of cultural projects.
The following sessions are
planned as part of the EEF business programme: ‘Industrial Partnerships in the
Creative Economy: Can Technology Exist Without Creativity?’ and ‘Distributing
Content in the Asia-Pacific Market: Adapting Strategies and Forming New
Partnerships’. The participants will discuss modern scientific achievements and
the adaptation of traditional ones to education, production, services, work,
and communication, as well as the promotion of Russian cinematography projects
in other countries.
Another key topic at the EEF
2024 will be cooperation between the Innosocium Foundation and the Presidential
Grants Fund. The discussion platform ‘Sustainable Partnership. What Can
Businesses and Non-Profits Do Today for a Better Tomorrow?’ will feature
presentations by the heads of leading non-profit organizations that are successfully
implementing social projects using grants from the Russian president. The
discussion will focus on various public initiatives and proposals for
implementing a sustainable business development strategy, the experience of
philanthropists and businesses in protecting families, and the establishment of
business ties between small businesses and non-profits.
The programme partner is
VKontakte, the main social network of the event and a streaming service.
The Eastern Economic Forum
will take place on 3–6 September 2024 on the campus of Far Eastern Federal
University in Vladivostok.
