The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will take place on
5–8 June.
“At the moment, 17,100
people and 3,400 media representatives from 136 countries and territories have
confirmed their participation in SPIEF. SPIEF now serves as one of the
sovereign centres of global development and is fulfilling its historically
established unique mission of maintaining the global balance of power and
building a multipolar international system, ensuring conditions for development
based on a unifying and constructive agenda dictated by the national interests
of the Russian Federation.
The Forum has
evolved into a full-fledged institution of national development. Participation
figures and interest in the Forum have reached pre-pandemic levels. Today, we
can confidently say that the period of recovery in business activity is over,
and we are in a phase of growth. The indicators for 2019 have been exceeded,
which indicates that the Forum as a communication tool is in demand by the
global business community, and interest in it continues to grow,” noted Anton Kobyakov,
Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of
the Organizing Committee.
