Trans-Baikal Territory has a great potential for the implementation of major investment projects, primarily for the development of natural and mineral resources and infrastructure development.
In recent years we implemented a set of measures to create favorable conditions for all economic entities, investment activity.
Trans-Baikal Territory has gold, copper, zinc, lead, carbon, zeolites and magnesite deposits. It produces almost the entire Russian uranium and tungsten. Trans-Baikal Territory provides two-thirds of Russian tantalum and one-third of molybdenum and fluorspar. Most of the province is covered with forests.
Major investment projects of Trans-Baikal Territory are associated with the development of the mining industry in the South East (Zabaikalsk territorial mining complex) and North (Charskii territorial industrial complex area of BAM), where a number of large concentrated deposits of ferrous, non-ferrous, precious metals and coal is found.
Trans-Baikal Territory is home to the largest international road and rail border crossing points in eastern Russia -- they are a part of the shortest land ways of transporting goods from Asia to Europe.
We are eager to preserve the historical and natural wealth of our land, to make it attractive for those who wish are visiting us as a tourist. In the end our efforts are aimed at improving the quality of life in the Trans-Baikal Territory.
All this allows us to consider our region as one of the most attractive for investors. Trans-Baikal Territory is opened for the business, and we are glad to cooperate with anyone who is interested in the development of our land.
