The report was prepared as a result of the event «Russian-Canadian Cooperation in the Field of Sustainable Development in the Arctic Region» as part of the ThinkArctic Project, organized by the Roscongress Foundation, the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies, and the Analytical Center for the Government of the Russian Federation.
A study prepared by the team of the A.S. Pushkin State Institute of the Russian Language, is devoted to determining the level of competitiveness of the Russian language on a global scale and its sustainability in the post-Soviet area.
The article presents a theoretical and methodological rationale for improving the efficiency of the functioning of tourism and recreation zones in Russia based on the study of domestic practice and analysis of the opinion of the expert community of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum participants. Special attention is paid to the issues of organizational and economic support of public-private partnership programs in the field of tourism and recreation, as well as the development of cluster structures.
