The book presents forecasts for the next twenty years given by eleven speakers at the VESTIFINANCE forum — leading Russian entrepreneurs, economists, and politicians. The forecasts cover a wide range of topics, such as digital media, cyber threats, food security, the crisis of medicine, using biochips for people, etc.

Sergei Gorkov, Chairman, Vneshekonombank (until 24 May, 2018), enumerates 10 global economic trends, including private capital competing with state-owned companies, convergent technologies, and blockchain.

Sergei Dankvert, Head, Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), stresses the importance of controlling food security issues and the necessity of reforming the agroindustry.

Nikolai Durmanov, Russian genetic scientist, the Chief Construction of Biosafety Systems, RTI Group, signals a crisis of medicine and warns the readers about biological threats, the gravest of which is antibiotic resistance.
