Elena Gorbashko: On SPIEF’s pool of experts

The article in the framework of the national project «Digital Economy» analyzes the development trends and features of the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in Russia. The advantages of this sphere of economic activity in comparison with the use of other «breakthrough» technologies are considered. Attention is focused on the features of the third wave of business process transformation associated with adaptive business processes, which allow, using AI, to radically transform a business by processing big data in real time instead of performing a predetermined sequence of steps.

This roadmap is based on the Growth Strategy — a mid-term program of socio-economic development of Russia. The Strategy stipulates a shift of focus of Russia’s economic policy from macroeconomic stabilization to an active stimulation of socio-economic growth and a modernization of the country’s economy.

The World Trade Organization’s study offers information about the early consequences of the pandemic, as it affects trade in services across various sectors, as well as shipment methods.

The rating agency Expert RA has published a macroeconomic overview of the current state of Russia’s economy with an outlook for 2020.
