Problematic issues of infrastructure development in the world are identified, and the current situation with infrastructure gap is portrayed. Considering high importance of private investment for the development of infrastructure complex, development of public-private partnerships in Russia was analyzed, necessary conditions for better utilization of its potential were identified.
