Test Site of North-Eastern Federal University in Priority Development Area Yakutia

Description

Establishment and operation of a test center for conducting climate tests of automobile tires (in the future: equipment, machinery, devices, and materials) in the coldest inhabited part of the planet. The test site is a facility comprising machinery and equipment, buildings and structures, including test tracks with different types of coatings to simulate different road conditions, for testing products made by manufacturers of machinery, equipment, and materials. Since 2012, seasonal tire tests will be conducted on the basis of the NEFU Road Faculty automobile track on behalf of Bridgestone Corporation, Japan. The initiator of the project is a resident of the Kangalassy Industrial Park Priority Development Area. There is a land plot for the construction of a new NEFU test site in the district of the village Kapitonovka with an area of 72.2 hectares.
