Production of berry raw material for food and pharmaceutical industry

Description

Creating a fruit orchard and berry beds for the cultivation of Siberian berries. The market of berry raw material is highly dependent on the volume of wild berry harvesting and is characterized by a deficit of grown berries. Implementation of the project will ensure an increased and guaranteed raw material base and reduce dependence on the wild berries harvest, as well as close the deficit of the project's product both in the domestic and foreign markets. The production plan provides for the laying of a 987 ha orchard (to be expanded to 2 000 ha in the future), of which buckthorn - 454 ha and honeysuckle - 533 ha. The orchard is to be arranged with the use of highly efficient breeding material, advanced technologies in soil improvement, drip irrigation, and raw material processing and storage.
